I'm a writer, editor, native Floridian, and sometime bassoonist living in Brooklyn, NY. My work has been published in the Forward, the Believer, the Los Angeles Review of Books, and on The New Yorker's website, among other places. I'm also an experienced copy editor, proofreader, and social media manager. My degrees are from New York University (M.A. in journalism--cultural reporting and criticism) and Florida State University (B.M. in bassoon performance with a second major in English).
